A Maksutov telescope is compact and chromatic aberration-free -perfect for the Moon and planets!
This instrument offers a complete system for optimally getting started in astronomy. The well proven Maksutov-Cassegrain mirror-lens system produces a sharp, high-contrast image.
Used in combination with an Amici prism (see accessories) it provides an upright and non-reversed image, which is perfect for use in nature watching, target shooting or digiscoping. An appropriate DSLR adapter is also available from us. The telescope can be mounted on a standard camera tripod by means of a 1/4" camera tripod adapter.
