The NT203s/800 optics: The Newtonian telescopes of the Messier series have established themselves in recent years as reliable workhorses even for astrophotography. With the new Messier NT203s/800, the series undergoes a further improvement that astrophotographers will appreciate.
- Thanks to its fast aperture ratio of f/3.9, the Newtonian with parabolic primary mirror allows deeper exposures with the same exposure time.
- The large secondary mirror ensures optimal field illumination.
- The high-quality 2.5" Hexafoc focuser ensures vignetting-free photography.
- Elaborate 6-point main mirror bracket
- Large adjusting screws for main and secondary mirrors
Tube clamps with 44mm dovetail rail and carrying handle with mounting option for a camera, as well as an excellent bright viewfinder with crosshairs, complement the image of these high-quality units.
The mounting Bresser EXOS-2:
The EXOS-2 is a robust mounting with high bearing capacity (up to 13 kg visual, 10 kg photographic) and precise setpoint tracing for visual watchings and for astro-photography.
Double radical rill-bearings make the function precise and the optimated RA-axes don´t let much play. Further, the very robust, precise worked mounting allows an easy entrance in astro-photography. A motorical 2-axes control can be added.
