The Baader Vario Finder - more than just a simple finder scope
This finder scope can be used for locating celestial objects. This is what finders are known for, but the Baader Vario finder is much more. It can also be used as a guide scope, a spotting scope for nature watching or as a small astronomical travel companion telescope. The Baader Vario Finder is specifically intended for use at higher magnifications. The optical design has been developed around the famous Carl ZEISS C lens. This small telescope shows clear Airy discs even up to the 120X magnification.
Large aperture
Its 61mm aperture makes it slightly larger than the most traditional finders, gives it greater light-gathering capacity and lets it show brighter images. Its 250mm focal length makes it is a really compact travel telescope. The optics are equipped with the popular Phantom Group coating.
Versatile and extendable
The Vario Finder is extremely versatile, offering numerous possibilities for the adaptation of accessories. Standard astronomy eyepieces can be used with the 1.25 inch connection. The 1.25 inch Amici prism can be used to enjoy excellent nature watching. It also provides comfortable astronomical observing. The finder set also includes a 25mm eyepiece with an illuminated reticule. The T-2 thread also allows connection to other T-2 accessories.
Of course, a dovetail adapter plate is also included, which can be clamped onto commercially available mounts. A ¼ inch thread is also available, allowing the Vario Finder can be attached to any camera tripod.
