For terrestrial and astronomical observing in the highest comfort.
Both axes have fine adjustment via slow-motions, allowing you to follow a sailing ship on the horizon or a bird in flight just as easily as an astronomical object. Sensitive fine adjustment is possible even at higher magnifications. Mounting of the telescope is via tube ring clamps.
An adapter for cameras and telephoto lenses is also available (on request). This allows you to easily attach scopes and cameras by means of a large knurled screw.
The mount comes supplied with a solid aluminium tripod - adjustable from 90mm to 130mm in height. The mount can carry Newtonians of up to 150mm and refractors of up to 120mm in aperture. The ATZ itself weighs 6.2 kg with tripod.
