X-Wedge polar wedge

A polar wedge is required for the equatorial operation of a fork-mounted telescope. It is the connecting link between the tripod and the fork mount and is adjusted to the latitude of your observing location. The wedge prevents frame rotation and allows long-term exposures.

The X-Wedge is suitable for Meade LX200, LX600 and LX90 (with optional adapter plate) telescopes. It offers much higher stability than its predecessor and is machined from solid aluminium.
