- universal prism rail made of aluminium for GP profile mounts
- suitable for NEQ-3, NEQ-5, EQ-300, EQ-500, HEQ-5, EQ-6, Celestron mounts, Vixen mounts and many others. Let us advise you.
- available in different lengths
- drillings at both ends, 2x 1/4" tripod thread in the middle
Whether telescope, spotting scope or camera equipment - this universal prism rail lets you attach virtually any instrument onto your mount. All you have to do is attach the rail to the OTA or tube-ring clamps to, nothing more is necessary.
Into the GP profile
Place your OTA into your mount's GP profile and tighten the clamping screw. It's that fast to have your telescope fully assembled, and of course dismantled again for transport. Because it is crucial how fast and easy your telescope is to be ready for transport and assembled again ready for use.
Lightweight and perfect for every telescope
The aluminium rail is black-anodized and made entirely from a single piece of aluminium. It has been milled out at the bottom, making it pleasantly light and giving it a real weight advantage - especially important when it comes down to every gram. The prism rail has straight edges on the top. It adapts perfectly to your instrument. Drillings at either end are used for attaching to a tube-ring clamp or OTA.
Our expert comment:
The large holes at the edges are smooth and wide enough for M6 or 1/4" screws. The 4 holes in the middle are threaded for 1/4" screws. Total height of the dovetail is 14mm.
