Glossary | Media | General | Series | Annals of the Deep Sky
A multi-volume object catalogue with a wealth of background information.
The Annals of the deep Sky present almost all celestial objects that are accessible to amateur astronomers, arranged by constellation. The objects are described in detail, in particular their astrophysical properties and their historical significance. Numerous general topics and a very detailed introduction in the first volume round off the detailed information about the objects.
The volumes of this series combine to present a comprehensive compendium of knowledge for all readers interested in astronomy - whether practical observers or theorists.
The objects of the solar system are not covered in the Annals of the deep Sky. The Annals also do not replace a detailed star map for those observers who want to do without computer control.
