Focuser Feather Touch FTF2015BCR 2''

This compact 2-inch focuser has been developed for Dobsonians, refractors and catadioptric telescopes. The rotatable, high-precision Crayford-type focuser makes visual observation a pleasure, and thanks to its backlash-free operation and high load-bearing capacity, it is a must-have for demanding astrophotography applications.

The focuser also completely eliminates the image shift that occurs when focusing schmidt-cassegrain telescopes with standard focusers.

The focuser features coarse and fine focus knobs with a reduction ratio of 10:1 – absolutely essential for photography. Despite its precision, the focuser has a load capacity of up to 5 kilograms, achieved by manually adjusting the friction of the focuser tube via an integrated brake. This load capacity is sufficient even for large 2-inch eyepieces, as well as for many cameras and filter wheels. The adjustable friction brake also allows the user to employ eyepieces across a wide range of weights.

The focuser can be locked in place for long-exposure photography. The brass ring clamp protects the accessories. Two knurled screws ensure a secure hold for heavy eyepieces and cameras.
