Report 212 (tripod)
The Report 212 tripod is equipped with module insert 1.
The support surface has a diameter of 60 mm and is equipped with a spring-loaded mounting screw 1/4", 3/8" or 5/8" (please select size).
This module insert is suitable for mounting heavy instruments. These are placed on top and locked in place from below with the star knob.
Simple tripod leg extension
The shelf plate (27 cm) included in the scope of delivery not only serves as a storage option but also increases stability.
The tripod is supplied with a spreader lock/spider, onto which the shelf plate is placed and screwed.
The Report Astro tripods are supplied without the stop system used on other Report photo tripods for setting the spread angle at approx. 20°, 40°, 60°, 80° and 100° using wing locks.
In conjunction with the adapter discs available as accessories, recommended for Meade ETX astro telescopes.
A steel chain can be attached to the metal clamps on the tripod legs.
The lightweight magnesium leg head also serves as the module base for 10 different inserts. The module insert can be changed at any time using a special key (included with delivery of the interchangeable module). The fixation in the cone ensures a form-fitting, play-free connection of the components.
