Product description

The standard focusing on the 8" (Edge) and 9.25" (Edge) Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain is relatively difficult. Especially when trying to find the optimal focus, this usually proves to be too inaccurate, making the optimal focus position with eyepieces, or in astrophotography with the camera, a game of patience. This often results in the use of a lower magnification eyepiece, which means that the potential of the telescope is not fully exploited.

This upgrade makes focusing a very easy and relaxed affair. Simply plug the adaptor over the standard focuser of your Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain.

Please note: On the 925 Edge, the flange for the zenith mirror is thicker. This means that the adaptor can only be used at the very end of the focuser. However, it still functions properly.

The material is 3D-printed PETG, which is durable thanks to its UV resistance and dimensional stability (up to 80 °C).
