This optical kit enables you to build a Sol’Ex High Resolution (HR) in 3D printing. It is fully compatible with the 3D printing files available on Christian Buil’s website, as well as with the mechanical kits offered by Azur3dPrint.
The Sol’Ex lets you take magnificent images of the Sun at any wavelength in the visible range (400 – 700nm). The kit includes the new GEN 2 slit.
With Sol’Ex (Solar Explorer), make incredible images of the Sun, as if you had a particularly narrow filter (typically 0.3 Ångström), much narrower than any commercially available filter, which will produce high-contrast views of the chromosphere. You can also choose the wavelength of your image (H-alpha, H-beta, sodium, helium, calcium… the entire visible range is accessible).
Please note: this kit contains only the optical elements. 3D-printed parts and additional elements (adapters, cameras, etc.) are not included.
