Binoculars as a solar telescope: Celestron EclipSmart binoculars are equipped with solar filters that allow you to look directly at the sun. Unlike removable filters, which can come loose unexpectedly, EclipSmart binoculars have built-in filters that are embedded in the objective lenses. So you can enjoy looking at the sun without worry.
Although these glasses are designed as binoculars, they are only suitable for visual observation of the sun. They are therefore also referred to here as solar telescopes.
With the Celestron EclipSmart 10x25 roof prism binoculars, you can safely observe the sun anywhere with ten times magnification. The very compact binoculars fit in any jacket pocket or car glove compartment. So you are always ready to follow the development of larger sunspot groups.
