The Module Insert 3 has a permanently installed levelling ball (diameter 55 mm) with a swivel range of 30°. The built-in spirit level allows quick and accurate alignment of the tripod.
This module is particularly recommended when using heavy equipment, as the built-in ball allows you to work without an additional tilt head in some cases. The camera or lens is attached directly to the tripod (spring-loaded mounting screw).
The Berlebach modular system: Use the special key provided to loosen the nut located under the tripod leg head. The respective insert can then be removed and replaced with the desired module.
