This high-quality slide allows for sensitive movement of the camera in one direction. This is particularly useful in macro photography to achieve exciting movements and the best image section. Sensitive means that a full turn of the crank results in an offset of only 1.25 millimetres!
The slide is equipped with a mount for quick release plates according to the Arca-Swiss standard. A plate is included in the scope of delivery. The plate can be rotated by 90°, so that the slide can be used for lateral movements of the camera or for changing the distance to the object.
Tip: Use two slides in combination to move the camera in both directions.
The slide itself can be attached to a tripod with an Arca-Swiss standard clamp. Thanks to the feet with rubber pads, the slide can also be used without a tripod. The feet themselves can be unscrewed.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
