Like all tripods in the Ranger series, this model is also designed to accompany photographers on longer routes outdoors. Light, compact and also extremely robust and strong: all attributes that are also characteristic of the Leofoto Ranger LS-254C carbon tripod. The pack size is a short 520 mm. If the leg segments are fully pulled out, a maximum working height of 1,285 mm is reached with the Leofoto LH-30 ball head. But it is also included in the complete set, as is a screw-on center column. A multi-tool and a set of stainless steel spikes are also included - everything is delivered together in a transport bag. Like the LH-30 ball head, the Ranger LS-254C masters a load of 8 kg.
The LH-30 ballhead has a load capacity of 15 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 30 millimetres, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ballhead to easily move and securely clamp even heavy loads. The ballhead itself weighs only 310 grams.
The base diameter of the ball head is 47 millimetres and its height is 78 millimetres. It is connected to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.

All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
