To replace the plastic mount on 2" Monorail focusers from GSO, Tecnosky has developed a retrofit kit made of anodised aluminium.
The GSO Monorail focuser is used on GSO RCs and Newtons. It is an excellent precision instrument, but the original plastic mount significantly impairs the performance and service life of the focuser. This high-quality retrofit significantly improves the feel and stability. There are threaded holes under the adaptor for attaching the plates of the most common accessories, such as the ZWO EAF or the Pegasus Astro Focuscube.
For mounting EAF and Pegasus focus motors, we recommend the optional kit with a 5x4.3 mm flexible coupling and longer coupling knob.
