FLM ballheads Centerball (CB)
A tripod head is usually used to align a camera, which is attached to the tripod plate. To ensure maximum stability, a tripod is set up so that the tripod plate is horizontal. If necessary, a levelling bubble can help here. The tripod head is then used to move or fix the camera in the exact position. FLM centre ball heads are developed with the same accuracy as FLM tripods and are manufactured and tested in Germany with the same high precision.
The model name of these heads provides information about the design, ball diameter, load capacity and functions:
e.g.: CB-43FTR means -> CB = Centerball (ballhead); 43 (ball diameter 43 mm, max. load capacity 30 kg); F (friction); T (tilt function); R (15° lock function for panoramic photos)
The FLM CB-48F is a ballhead with friction and panorama turntable. It has a ball diameter of 48 mm. Its load capacity is max. 45 kg and it weighs only 567 g. It is attached to the tripod using the 3/8" bottom thread. All cameras, binocular adapters and spotting scopes with 1/4" or 3/8" threads can be mounted. The ball head can be released in all directions using the large control knob. The black ring allows you to fix the resistance of the ball. The Panorama screw allows you to release the horizontal plane separately. The cork base of the support plate protects your instruments from damage.
