More about the series HB Ball Head...
The HB-70 ballheads have a load capacity of 40 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 70 millimetres, which was manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ballheads to move even heavy loads easily and clamps them securely. The ballheads themselves weigh only 960 grams.
The base diameter of the ballhead is 81 millimetres, the connection to the tripod is made via a 3/8-inch photo thread.
The ballheads are equipped with an Arca-Swiss standard clamp and the Leofoto Quick release plate QP-70N.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
