The LH-47LR ballhead has a load capacity of 22 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 47 millimetres, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ballhead to easily move and securely clamp even heavy loads. The ballhead itself weighs only 410 grams.
The base diameter of the ballhead is 62 millimetres, and it connects to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.
The newly developed mechanism of the clamping lever holds the quick-release plate securely and permanently in place, so that even at a 90° angle, the specified load capacity of 22 kilograms is guaranteed. Thanks to this clamping mechanism, a really quick change is possible.
The clamping lever locks in three positions: open, half-open and closed. In the half-open position, the quick-release plate can be pushed out but not lifted off.
When closed, the lever nestles against the clamp and does not protrude above or below.
The ballhead is equipped with an Arca-Swiss standard clamp and a quick release plate.

This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
