Even small ballheads like this one have their place in photography. After all, there are mini or tabletop tripods that can be equipped with lighter cameras. Very large and heavy ballheads would not be suitable for this purpose. However, the MBH-19 is of very good quality. Leofoto uses only robust aircraft aluminium, which is always CNC-milled with pinpoint accuracy. The MBH-19 ballhead has a tripod thread and camera screw, each ¼", can carry up to 2 kg, weighs only 89 g and is a nice short 49 mm.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
