Double the magnification
When used with an eyepiece, this barlow lens doubles the magnification. Simply insert the 1.25" eyepiece into the barlow lens and secure it with a side-mounted fixing screw. Then insert the whole assembly into the focuser. For example, if you normally achieve 20x magnification with your eyepiece, this increases to 40x with the barlow lens.
