The optics: The telescope in a brass tube with classic 80 mm lens optics not only looks attractive, but is also suitable for astronomical observations of the sky and terrestrial objects. The eyepiece provides 36x magnification. Focusing is achieved via a rack and pinion focuser.
For a more comfortable view of objects high in the sky, the telescope is equipped with an Amici prism. The additional finder scope also makes it easier to use.
Mount and tripod: The classic brass azimuth mount allows for elevation and horizontal rotation. It is mounted on a medium-weight mahogany tripod. The tripod is equipped with brass struts and a shelf plate to prevent it from spreading.
