bScope for large samples
When classic metal microscopes quickly reach their limits with large workpieces, the Euromex bScope Large Samples comes into its own: high clearance, plenty of space on the microscope stage and a design that has been specially developed for inspecting large or irregular samples. This makes the Z-Serie ideal for material testing, quality control and surface analysis – e.g. on metals, plastics, minerals or coated components.
Typical bScope: you work with a large field of view (WF 10x/22), stable mechanics and a setup that makes positioning large samples much easier than with conventional systems. The details can be found in the data/catalogue section – here we focus on what you really notice in everyday use: handling, contrast, overview and clean documentation.
bScope Large Samples BS.4053-PLMRi (Bright Field)
The BS.4053-PLMRi is the right choice if you mainly perform classic bright field inspections in materials testing and are looking for a robust, universal solution for large samples. The system is designed for precise, high-contrast surface images – for structures, coatings, machining marks or defects.
Thanks to its spacious design and integrated mechanical table, you can also align bulky parts in a controlled manner and systematically scan them without constantly struggling with insufficient space.
eyepieces
Wide field WF 10x/22 mm eyepieces with 22 mm field of view (Ø 30 mm tube)
Head
- A Siedentopf-type trinocular head, 30° inclined tubes
- A ± 5 dioptre adjustment on the left eyepiece
- The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 48 and 76 mm
- A camera tube with a diameter of 23.2 mm
- The prisms in the head are designed to minimise light absorption for perfect digital imaging
- Beam splitter (100:0 / 0:100)
Revolver
Rotatable and inverted quadruple revolver with ball bearings
lenses
The state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and multi-layer coatings used in the production of bScope lenses enable the bScope to be used for the most demanding applications. World-class spherical aberration correction combined with modern CNC and assembly technology ensures perfect centring of the lenses.
This series of metallurgical microscopes is available in two versions:
- The bright field model, which is suitable for most materials science applications.
- The model with bright field and dark field illumination for the most demanding analyses.
Focusing
- Double coaxial, low-positioned coarse and fine adjustment with 180 divisions
- Precision 1.3 µm, 130 µm per revolution, total travel distance approx. 20 mm
- With adjustable stop to prevent damage to samples and lenses. Improved coarse and fine adjustment with tension control
Table
The bScope is equipped with a scratch-resistant 30 x 25 cm flat base and comes with a 185 x 140 mm mechanical X-Y stage with 35 x 30 mm travel.
LED lighting
Incident light lighting with adjustable intensity (5 W LED Köhler lighting) with
- External power pack
- Option for: Rotatable push-pull polariser, push-pull analyser
- Integrated rotatable filter disc with green, blue, yellow and white filters
polarization
The bScope has an integrated slot above the objective turret for an optional polarisation filter.
Scope of delivery
The polystyrene packaging ensures low environmental impact and maximum safety during transport. The scope of delivery includes a power cord, dust cover, tools, a spare fuse and an instruction manual.
