The Arxus boot sock is a sock that has been specially developed to achieve a perfect fit and ultimate comfort when wearing Arxus rubber boots. The technical design of this sock plays a crucial role in its function. A thin layer of wool covers the foot and the shaft around the calf.
The entire footbed is lined with a thick layer of felted lambswool, which provides comfort and insulation and keeps moisture away from the foot. The black areas with yellow stripes indicate supportive elastic areas on the forefoot and above the ankle.
The elastic area around the arch of the foot keeps the sock in place. The entire sock is made of 63% pure lambswool, 35% polyamide for external reinforcement of the toes and heel, and 2% elastane for a supportive fit. The inside of the sock is made almost entirely of pure lambswool on the leg and foot.
The waffle knit cuff keeps the sock shaft in place.
