With this accessory, you can control your mount without a handcontroller using Ascom / EQMod and a planetarium program (recommended: Cartes du Ciel).
The USB cable for the PC adaptor is included in the scope of delivery. The adaptor is automatically recognised by operating systems from Win7 to Win10.

EQMOD is the name of an open source software that allows you to control your mount from your PC. There are various solutions for connecting the PC to the mount. The component EQDIR in the name of many adaptors and interfaces means that a direct connection is established between the PC and the mount, so that the handcontroller is no longer needed. Such a connection can even be wireless.
