Zenith mirrors enable comfortable observation with refracting telescopes and SC telescopes. The influence of this accessory on the quality of the image is often underestimated: an expensive telescope cannot deliver a good image if a poor zenith mirror is mounted on it!
You can rely on the Durabright zenith mirror from William Optics: the dielectrically coated and very smooth surface (1/10 lambda) reflects 99% of the incident light. Thanks to its thickness of 12 millimetres, the mirror is very dimensionally stable. The side parts are made of carbon for thermal stabilisation and weight reduction.
Durabright was designed for 2" eyepieces. However, the included adaptor also allows the use of 1.25" eyepieces and accessories. The eyepiece is secured with a brass ring and two screws.
