Product description

The Starquest DX mount is particularly high-quality and lightweight. Thanks to its simple operation, it is particularly suitable for beginners. Once set to the latitude of the observation site and aligned to the north, the mount allows you to keep celestial objects in the eyepiece at all times. To do this, only one axis is continuously rotated by means of the flexible shaft. This is the big advantage over an azimuth mount, which requires rotation around two axes. This tracking can also be done automatically with an optional motor.

The two axes of the mount can be rotated through 360°. It comes with a height-adjustable stainless steel tripod.
