Celestron Ultima LX Eyepieces 1¼" and 2"
These are Celestron's top-of-the-line eyepieces with a 6- and 8-lens design. Thanks to a new multi-coating (FMC), they are among the eyepieces with the absolute best contrast performance.
The long eye relief and large field of view, as well as the eyepiece cups included in the delivery, ensure comfortable viewing without stray light. Light transmission is significantly higher than with conventional Plössl eyepieces, and virtually all aberrations (spherical aberration, chromatic aberration, distortion) have been reduced to a minimum that is no longer visible thanks to a new computer design. The inner surfaces and corners of all lenses are blackened to prevent reflection. The Ultima eyepieces have a matt black coating on the outside and are rubberised for a secure grip.
The integrated screw-in filter thread allows the attachment of eyepiece filters. Dust caps are included for safe storage of the eyepiece. This type of eyepiece is the first choice when it comes to not compromising between good viewing comfort and maximum light transmission.
