The optical design of the Emerald eyepiece consists of seven lenses that offer an 82° field of view, perfect for observation of deep sky objects such as star clusters and galaxies, especially with a dobson telescope!
All lenses are fully coated and the edges are blackened for high light transmission, high contrast and minimal internal reflections. With an 18 mm eye relief, the Emerald eyepiece is comfortable for long-term observation, even with glasses.
