Just a few years ago, it was quite normal to use eyepieces with a 50 to 60° field of view. How often did you wish: "If only the field were bigger"?
With the Ethos eyepieces, you now have a huge field of view of 100 or 110°, which is twice as large as the visible field. Compared to an 82° eyepiece, you gain about 50% field of view. You really see no limits anymore - tunnel effects are now a thing of the past.
It's almost like watching a new blockbuster in widescreen at the cinema – and the theme is the universe.
Impressive sharpness
You can also use these eyepieces on telescopes with fast focal ratios, such as f/4. TeleVue Ethos eyepieces always show you extremely high field and edge sharpness. An intelligent optical design, coupled with excellent multi-coating, results in one thing: an incredibly brilliant image.
