The Wanderer FilterCube 2"/50mm is a motorised 5-position filter wheel designed specifically for telescopes with a camera in the primary focus – particularly for extremely fast optical systems such as the Celestron RASA 11 and RASA 36.
Thanks to its innovative ‘Zero-Obstruction’ design and a compact outer diameter of 114 mm, the FilterCube causes no additional optical obstruction in the optical path.Its proprietary, patented “Side-Flip” filter system comprises four filter slots that flip open to the side, as well as a central slot for L-filters. This enables quick and convenient filter access whilst offering exceptional mechanical stability.
With an optical length of 60.3 mm, the instrument meets the back-focus requirements of the RASA 11 when used with cameras that have a back-focus of 12.5 mm. An additional adaptor from WandererAstro is required for RASA 36 systems.
