With a thickness of just 14 mm or 16 mm (depending on the model), the Snowflake Filter Wheel is one of the flattest motorised filter wheels on the market. This frees up valuable space within the optical system and makes it easier to integrate additional components such as rotators or tilt adaptors.
7+1 filter concept: The eighth Filter position offers additional flexibility. It can be used either for an additional Filter or for the supplied dark filter, allowing dark frames to be captured on the go without the need for any modifications.
Precise filter positioning: The backlash-free drive system ensures repeatable positioning of each filter, thereby supporting consistently stable image calibration.
Light-tight construction: Multi-stage light-shielding grooves, a sealed design and the special filter mask effectively prevent the ingress of stray light and enhance image contrast.
