The TeleVue TRF-2008 0.8 Reducer/Flattener reduces the focal length and flattens the image field of your telescope. This allows you to photograph extended nebulae, faint galaxies and other fascinating objects in the universe particularly well. The reduced focal length allows you to achieve shorter exposure times. The Field Flattener is a typical high-quality TeleVue product with a multi-coated 3-lens correction optic. It fits directly into the 2" focuser of your telescope. It has a T-2 thread on the camera side. This allows you to easily adapt your SLR camera.
