Focuser R&P 3"

The advantage of this rack and pinion focuser: The focuser tube bearing and adjustment are decoupled. The focuser tube is precisely mounted on Teflon. Unlike ball-bearing Crayford focusers, the focus tube does not give way even under maximum load. The focus tube is adjusted via a helical gear. The advantage is, on the one hand, very sensitive adjustment even under maximum load, combined with the best possible force transmission. Even heavy cameras are held securely and the field sharpness is maintained.

Connection or adaptation to the telescope: The focuser is supplied with a connection adaptor that has an M117x1 internal thread. The adaptor allows 360° rotation. All you need is a transition adaptor to the M117 internal thread. The focuser fits directly onto the RC Astrographs from TS / GSO / Astro Tech with an aperture of 10" or more .

When the plug adapter is removed, a plug connection with a diameter of 105 millimetres is available for individual adaptations.
