Panorama photography is the joining together of several shots to create an overall image that offers a wider field of view than your camera/lens combination alone can deliver. This can be achieved by means of simple panoramic rotating plates. Panorama heads with a locking function are ideal for more complex compositions as they can ensure that all image sections have the same angle. Geared panorama heads are aimed at professionals, they can be moved in two axes and of course rotated by 360° for very fine adjustments in the horizontal axis. All these tripod heads offer at least one spirit level, some even have more than one.
