Product description

Omegon basic guide scope rings - for guide scopes of up to 80mm in aperture

These simple, yet solid, solidly-made guide scope rings are ideal for OTAs or guide scopes of up to 80mm in aperture.

The advantages in a nutshell

  • for guide scopes from 60mm up to 80mm aperture
  • good value for money
  • two light but sturdy aluminium tube rings
  • screws have plastic protection to avoid scratching

The anodized clamping screws are provided with a plastic protective cap to prevent them scratching the guide scope and to optimally protect it. The tube rings weigh just 240g each with a diameter of 116mm, so they can easily be stowed away anywhere and won't get in the way. These guide scope rings, although simple and no-frills, have nevertheless been well designed and are entirely suitable for fitting your guide scope.

We recommend guidescopes from 60mm up to 80mm aperture. You can even use a guidescope with 55mm, but you need enough screw thread to compensate the alignment of the scope.
