The special feature of the HP40F is primarily the second adjustable blue LED, which is very useful for anglers, for example, as the blue light does not scare the fish away. Three light levels for the blue LED (XP-E2 M3 with 12/28/50 lumens) and four light levels for the white LED (XP-G2 R5 with 8/65/180/450 lumens) cover a wide range. Four CR123 batteries or two 18650 rechargeable batteries can be stored in the belt-mounted battery box, which also has a USB charging interface for emergencies, e.g. to charge a mobile phone. Separate switches for both LEDs make control simple and clear.
