The lenses, coated with the renowned Kite MHR coating, ensure high light transmission and produce bright, clear images with excellent colour neutrality. The images are rich in detail and contrast, allowing even small plumage features and colour differences to be distinguished. Even in poorer lighting conditions, sufficient light still reaches the spotting scope to produce pleasantly bright images. This means observations can be made even in the early morning or late evening hours and on overcast days.
The Kite SP-65 II comes with a 15–45x eyepiece, which offers maximum flexibility. The 15x magnification provides an excellent overview, allowing you to quickly and easily locate birds spotted with binoculars or the naked eye using the spotting scope. You can then zoom in to a magnification of up to 45x, revealing even the smallest details and enabling detailed observation and species identification.
With an objective lens diameter of 65 mm, the Kite SP-65 II remains extremely small and compact and is very easy to carry. The high-quality aluminium body ensures it is lightweight. This means the spotting scope can be carried comfortably even for extended periods and is ideal for long, demanding observation trips. At the same time, it is extremely robust and up to the task of any adventure. It is completely waterproof, so you can continue observing even if it suddenly starts to rain. The nitrogen-filled design also prevents the lenses from fogging up on the inside. Operating the spotting scope is incredibly simple and intuitive. The centrally positioned quick-focus wheel allows you to focus on the subject comfortably and quickly; thanks to its non-slip surface, this can be done even in wet conditions or whilst wearing gloves.
