KOWA has re-engineered its success story!
The most conspicuous innovation is its new rubber casing. Like the models from the 880 and 770 series, this is now available in “KOWA green”. Furthermore, Kowa has treated all external lenses with a nanocoating which repels water and allows dirt to be more easily removed.

These high-performance models are the result of an optimum balance between compact format and the outstanding performance inherited from the TSN-820M series. The highly developed spotting scopes meet all requirements - from those of the budding birdwatcher to those of the full-time naturalist.
Performance features of the TSN-660 series:
- 66 mm objective lens
With over 120% of the condenser power of the 60 mm objective lens, a bright field of view is guaranteed during observation. - All lenses are multi-coated in the spotting scope body
All lenses, prisms and dust protection discs in the spotting scope body are multi-coated to ensure a clear field of view and sharp images. - Compact housing
At 30 cm, the spotting scope has the same length as conventional models in the 60 mm class, but with a much larger lens diameter. It weighs only approx. 1kg. Thanks to its compact design, it is easy to handle and transport. - Waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen
The housing is waterproof in accordance with JIS Protection Class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent the lens from fogging up.
