MINOX is therefore expanding its current range of sports optics with a new spotting scope with angled view – the MINOX MD 88 W APO. This product also consistently embodies the company's core characteristics – compactness, quality and precision. Equipped with a continuously adjustable eyepiece with 20x to 60x magnification, the MD 88 W APO offers maximum flexibility.
The MINOX MD 88 W APO is equipped with an extremely high-quality and powerful optical system with high-resolution, apochromatically corrected special glass and a complex multi-layer coating, offering an impressively brilliant, high-contrast image with natural colour reproduction. Thanks to its high-quality APO technology, the MD 88 W APO delivers an image optimised for colour fringing with image resolution down to the smallest detail, even at dusk. With the integrated wide-angle eyepiece with 20x to 60x magnification, distant objects can be observed with fascinatingly high magnification – details can be experienced in high resolution and image quality.
The dual focusing system offers exceptional ease of use. This allows the user to quickly focus on the object being observed using a coarse focusing ring and then make precise fine adjustments using the fine focusing ring.
The rotating tripod socket allows the MINOX spotting scope to be easily and conveniently rotated and fixed around its own longitudinal axis, making the new MD 88 W APO the perfect and indispensable tool for sport shooters.
Other features include a practical lens hood that can be quickly and easily pulled out to protect against unwanted sunlight.
In addition, the wishes of digiscoping enthusiasts were also taken into account during the development of the new MD 88 W APO: a bayonet mount for a photo adaptor is integrated into the eyepiece, allowing the user to connect any standard digital camera.
The MINOX MD 88 W APO is extremely robust, shock-resistant and waterproof to a depth of 5 metres. A carrying case is included in the scope of delivery.
