The target modes

With the Razor HD 4000 GB, you get a laser rangefinder that offers versatile targeting modes to achieve the best performance in any situation. The different targeting modes are:

1. Normal mode: Displays the strongest distance result. This mode is intended as the main mode and is ideal for most situations.
2. First mode: Displays the shortest distance when multiple objects are detected. Perfect for detecting smaller targets in front of larger, more reflective objects.
3. Last mode: Displays the distance of the furthest detected target. This mode is recommended for concealed targets, e.g. when branches or bushes obstruct the view.
4. ELR mode (Extreme Long Range): Ideal for extremely long distances. A slightly longer reaction time allows for extended ranges and is best used on a tripod.

Wind modes

The Razor HD 4000 GB offers two different wind modes to enable accurate measurements in different wind conditions:

Full Crosswind mode

This mode assumes that the wind is blowing perpendicular to the direction of measurement. This mode is ideal for quick wind inputs and simple shooting setups.

Wind Bearing Capture mode

Uses the built-in compass to detect the wind direction regardless of the user's orientation. This mode is ideal when the wind is coming from unusual angles, changing direction and speed frequently, or when you are changing position and direction frequently.
