Euromex Oxion Inverso OX.2453-PLPHF
The Euromex Oxion Inverso Fluorescence OX.2453-PLPHF is an inverted fluorescence microscope for cell culture and life science applications. The inverted design allows you to observe cells directly in the culture vessel (e.g. petri dishes, flasks) – without the hassle of transferring the sample. The combination of bright field/phase contrast in transmitted light and reflected light fluorescence makes the system ideal for routine checks (confluence, morphology) and marker-based analyses.
The optics: infinity-corrected, LWD – made for culture vessels
The OX.2453-PLPHF uses infinity-corrected IOS optics and LWD (Long Working Distance) lenses. This provides sufficient working distance for typical cell culture vessels while giving you a high-contrast, stable image. Particularly relevant for everyday laboratory practice: phase contrast is integrated – perfect for unstained, living cells.
Fluorescence: three channels ex works, quickly ready for use
For fluorescence, the microscope works with 100 W HBO incident light including UV protection. The 4-position filter rail is equipped with three common filter sets ex works, so you can cover the standard markers directly:
- FITC (blue)
- Texas Red (green)
- DAPI/Hoechst/Alexa Fluor 350 (UV)
Mechanics & ergonomics: stable stage, precise focusing
The large stage offers plenty of space and comes with inserts for different sample holders. The coaxial coarse/fine drive allows for sensitive focusing, while the 5x objective turret speeds up magnification changes. The trinocular 45° head is practical for documentation and camera use (camera/adaptors optional).
