The GH-100 combines the smooth precision of a ballhead with impressive ergonomic controls: it allows quick positioning of your camera/spotting scope and is unrivalled in its versatility. This technically advanced ballhead is equipped with the market-leading Grip Position Release System, featuring a 360-degree rotating handle that resembles a pistol trigger, allowing you to quickly and easily release, reposition and lock your equipment. As this allows for one-handed operation, your other hand is free to make zoom adjustments.
Pressing the grip allows the ballhead to be rotated 360 degrees and tilted sideways (with a tilt angle of -32 to +90 degrees). In addition, front-to-back tilt is possible (tilt angle -8 to +90 degrees). The ballhead locks immediately when the handle is released. Other impressive features include its Friction Control System, which allows the friction on the ball to be adjusted depending on the weight of the equipment (e.g. when changing to a heavier lens). The anodised ball allows extremely smooth movements without any loss of control or precision.
The GH-100 ensures the safety of your expensive equipment, as its quick release plate is equipped with a double locking mechanism that prevents accidental release. The equipment can be attached and removed quickly and effectively. Another interesting feature is the 72-step panorama setting with 72 click stops; the angle scale with 5° divisions means that the camera can be moved 5° further with each click.
