The Böker Barlow BFF, designed by Lucas Burnley, is manufactured as a fixed EDC in full tang construction. With this handy knife, the renowned designer and full-time knife maker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the proven Barlow and the modern elements of his Post Tactical line. The characteristic teardrop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to 17th-century English pocket knives, making it one of the oldest models in existence. The name of this Klassik probably goes back to an enterprising knife manufacturer of the same name from Sheffield, who began exporting the robust knives to north america around 1800. They immediately enjoyed great popularity there, and so the first Barlow models appeared in the history of the Böker factory at the end of the 19th century.
This fixed blade version harmoniously combines tradition, everyday utility and a touch of tactical finesse. The compact Barlow BFF is made from ice-hardened AEB-L, a versatile blade steel with excellent cutting capabilities, good rust resistance and easy resharpenability. The fixed blade version of this timeless classic features contoured handle scales made of local walnut wood and fits comfortably in the hand. The decorative brass hollow rivet also serves as a lanyard hole and, together with the rivets in the same colour, adds a visual accent. Comes with a perfectly fitting black leather sheath, which ensures high carrying comfort thanks to the integrated clip. Handcrafted at the Böker knife factory in Solingen.
