Pocket knife, 300-layer rose damask

The handle of the Hartkopf pocket knife consists of brass plates with polished nickel silver bolsters and fine ivory grip scales. The 300-layer Damascus steel blade is locked in the open position by a traditional back lock. The non-stainless rose damask blade comes from the renowned Markus Balbach forge. Ivory is a protected species and trade in it is regulated by the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. The knife is therefore supplied with a CITES certificate, which must be kept in a safe place.
