This Herbertz belt knife features a glass fibre reinforced G10 handle. Combined with brass fittings, this provides a sturdy grip for the drop point blade made from proven 420 stainless steel. The knife can be safely stored in the sheath included in the delivery for transport.

420 steel is mainly used when knife manufacturers want to keep the price-performance ratio low. The material is very corrosion-resistant, i.e. rust-free. However, this type of steel needs to be sharpened quite frequently. This is very easy to do. Of course, there are higher-quality knife steels, but this quality is usually sufficient for most applications.
