Information about the blade shape:
Drop point blade:
This blade is particularly popular with hunters. The drop point blade is characterised by its slightly convex blade back. This shape gives you good control over the tip of the knife. Compared to the clip point blade, the tip is not quite as sharp, but slightly more solid and robust. The pronounced belly on the cutting edge gives the drop point blade very good cutting results.
420 steel
Material information:
420 steel is mainly used when knife manufacturers want to keep the price-performance ratio low. The material is very corrosion-resistant, i.e. rust-free. However, this type of steel needs to be sharpened quite frequently. This is very easy to do. Of course, there are higher-quality knife steels, but this quality is usually sufficient for most applications.
