The Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD digital microscope can be used, among other things, as a digital magnifying glass for observing non-transparent objects such as coins, plant seeds and insects. The Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD is easy to use, perfect for professional studies and professional use, and can of course also be used for hobby purposes.
Magnification is achieved with the help of an integrated digital camera. Software controls the image quality. The sample is fixed to the microscope stage with clamps and illuminated from above by eight bright LEDs. The magnified image is displayed on the integrated screen. In addition, the image can also be displayed on any external screen, for example on a computer monitor, notebook screen or projector. The lighting can be adjusted and, of course, the image sharpness can also be set separately.
You can save the results of your observations as photos or videos. The recordings are stored on a memory card, one of which is included in the scope of delivery.
Another important feature is the accompanying image processing programme on the CD. Once you have installed this programme on your computer, you can use additional options such as brightness and contrast adjustment, image descriptions and measurements of angles and linear sample sizes.
A huge advantage of this microscope is that it does not need to be plugged into a power outlet. An integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 7 hours of continuous operation. If necessary, the microscope can also be powered via a USB port (e.g. on a computer). Mains operation of the microscope is also possible; a suitable power supply is available as a separate accessory.
