The Motic BA310E is specially designed for the demands of everyday routine tasks in universities, clinics or laboratories. The proven CCIS © infinity optic delivers the improved EC Plan Achromatic objective for a corrected intermediate image. The BA310E’s Köhler illumination provides the best lighting quality, even for difficult samples. The 30W halogen light source can be replaced by LED modules with different colour temperatures, and offers sufficient reserves for an upgrade to phase contrast, POL contrast and dark field. Discussion set-ups are also possible. Our Epi-LED modules enable the use of fluorescence even for everyday routine tasks. The Motic BA310E is a long-lasting instrument for professional and reliable image results in a variety biomedical application fields.

Handling
For robust handling during daily routine work
The Motic BA310E is specially designed for the demands of everyday routine tasks. The coated rackless stage allows the safe and precise processing of various types of samples. The BA310E’s standard tubes have a 30° viewing angle for viewing comfort. The interpupillary distance is adjustable from 48-75mm, depending on the needs of different users. The photo tube with a 100:0/20:80 beam splitter allows the integration of various digital camera systems enabling microscopic images to be shared and discussed in the laboratory.
Objectives
EC Plan objectives for excellent image results
All EC Plan Achromatics, from 4X to 100X, deliver improved contrast for both the human eye and digital sensors via the photo output. Especially for phase contrast, the optional objectives (with positive & negative phase contrast) offer great variability for many different applications. The N-WF eyepieces start with the standard 10X/20mm field of view, allow dioptre adjustment (+/-5 dpt.) for both eyes, and thus allow the accurate use of reticles.
Illumination
Interchangeable HAL/LED illumination
The BA310E delivers 30W halogen illumination in a full-Köhler setup, with an integrated field diaphragm. The light source can easily be exchanged for LED modules with different colour temperatures. The importance of LEDs as a safe and long-lasting light source has increased significantly, especially in education, where extended service life and reduced heat generation compared to halogen light sources are becoming increasingly important. A high-quality condenser with NA 0.9/1.25 and aperture diaphragm for the visualisation of weak or unstained samples is included in the package.

When it comes to the use of optional accessories, the BA310E is perfectly embedded in Motic's upright microscope concept. Phase contrast (both the positive and negative version) is possible with a lighting ring slider and rotary condenser, dark field and POL contrast are also easy to achieve. Discussion facilities offer the traditional teaching environment, especially for pathology and histology. Fluorescence can be achieved with simple LED modules in the beam path. The BA310E offers a long-lasting benefit to universities, clinics and laboratories.
