Kowa protective filter
Harsh conditions such as sand and salt on the coast, a tripod tipping over or contact with a sharp, hard object - all of these can damage the most sensitive part of a spotting scope, the objective lens or its coating, to the point of irreparable damage.
Protect your spotting scope
Damage to the objective lens can drastically reduce optical performance and is also responsible for the most expensive repairs. This is especially true if the spotting scope is equipped with a lens made of pure fluorite crystal. Very often, the only option is to replace the lens completely, which is very expensive. This type of damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and can require lengthy and costly repairs.
All current Kowa spotting scopes are equipped with a filter thread for use with protective filters.
Thanks to its nano-coating, the filter is both oil and water repellent. The perfect accessory to extend the life of your spotting scope!
